Fairview / St-Genny Scouts meet on Tuesday
evenings at the Fairview Park Chalet
or St-Geneviève United church on
alternating months. Occasionally, the troop meets
outside the hall for an activity evening.
Scouts are young men and women between the ages of 11 and 14 who enjoy all sorts of activities, from games to camping. They are organized in patrols of 5 or 6 peers and are supervised by adult leaders.
Like most Scout Troops, our favourite activities are to go camping and travel to places and visit cool things.
In the last few seasons we did quite a few things, from the senior and fall camps to visiting Ottawa for Remembrance Day. Lets not forget winter camps in a Log Cabin, the Tremblant Park hike, bike treks to Oka Park, June Camp and of course Summer Camp in July.
We've also gone swimming at the pool, hiked, went bowling, trekked all over Montreal for the Great urban race, visited the Water Plant, went skating and rollerblading, played mini golf and even had "all nighter" movies sleepovers.
As you can see we may not have a fancy webpage, but we are a pretty busy troop :)
ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!
Spring Camp
On May 14-16 the troop headed to the north side of Tamaracouta for a weekend in the Adirondack lean-to's away from civilisation and basic comforts. The black flies were out in force, but the awesome weather more than made up for it. Photos are posted in the restricted area.
All Sections Camp
April 16-18 the senior Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers headed up to our all sections camp near Rawdon. The weather did not cooperate, but we still managed to have a very exciting weekend. Photos are posted in the restricted area.

We are planning an overnight bike trip to Oka Park and Beach in June.
